Custom Product Configurator
Our client needed a way for their customers to be able to select different configuration options when purchasing one of their position sensors.
We developed a custom product configurator, that enabled the customer to do this by selecting options from several dropdowns. The price and part number automatically update depending on the customer’s selection and behind the scenes there are rules in place to prevent the customer from selecting options that are not available to them.
Once the customer has configured their product, they can add to the cart. Customer selections and product numbers are shown in the order details.
Custom Foam Cut to Size System
Our client needed a way for their customers to be able to order foam that is cut to size.
We developed a four-step system that allowed the customer to choose a foam shape, enter the required dimensions using their preferred unit of measurement and then in the next step choose their foam type. The final step is to review their order where a total price is shown; this price is calculated behind the scenes. The customer is offered some optional extras and once they are happy, the customer can add their custom foam to the cart. The customer dimensions and selections are all carried across to the cart and are shown in the order details.
